Welcome! Sean's Shows (overview)

Hello, and welcome to my first post for Telly Vision!!

  Hello there! My name is Sean and I will be posting information about three of my favorite contemporary television shows. Please feel free to comment on the shows as they are posted, perhaps you are one of the millions of fans. Engage in discussion, ask me questions and don't shy away from friendly debates!

I will be writing about three contemporary shows that are TV legends and global phenomenons in their own right. Prominent forces in the Genres of Drama, Comedy and Science Fiction, these shows encapsulate and enthrall their audiences on a weekly basis.

Their audiences are strong, loyal and ever increasing, with significant ratings and critical acclaim keeping these programs at the top of the modern TV legends.

The shows I will be discussing are:

DOCTOR WHO

BBC's long running science fiction- drama series has broken records by reaching its glorious 50th Anniversary. First broadcast on November 23rd, 1963, at 5:15 pm, the world of television changed as this incredibly popular series amazed audiences though dozens of series and eleven lead actors.

BREAKING BAD

HBO's powerful drama stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul as the meth cooks who risk their lives for the sake of their fortune. Approaching its final episode, Breaking Bad will go down in television history as one of the best written and best cast dramas of our time.

FAMILY GUY

FOX Network tried to ax this controversial animated sitcom twice, but as the familiar story goes, the fierce backlash and high demand from loyal fans brought Seth MacFarlane's animated masterpiece roaring back.
