Modern Family

Hannah here! And welcome to my second post :)

This week’s post will be featured on the hit TV show “Modern Family”. Modern Family is an American comedy show set to make every viewer, at any age, laugh. The show caters to all ages, genders, and personalities; featuring older actors, middle-aged actors, teens, and younger children. Modern Family focuses on three “families”: the nucleaur family of parents and three kids, two gays with a baby, and an older man married to a young attractive Latina with her son. All three families are shown in each episode, focusing on their day-to-day dramas and hilarious occurrences, promoting a feel-good storyline, and ending with a “moral” from the episode (i.e., keeping your family close vs. personal space). Aired on channel 10.

Modern Family debuted in 2009, and is currently filming its fifth season (as of September 2013). The TV show receives favourable reception and staggering amounts of viewers, average 14 million people as of now. Modern Family are soon hitting their 100^th episode (98 currently).

The main characters in this show are Phil, Claire, Alex, Haley, Luke, Jay, Gloria, Manny, Mitchell, and Cameron. Each person I know has a different “favourite”, but the general consensus on the “funny man” is by far Phil Dunphy (inserted below).
